Welcome UBRA Wisconsin Director Bobbie Jo Orysen!

Welcome UBRA Wisconsin Director Bobbie Jo Orysen!

I have always been one to be thankful for what others do for me and often think I wouldn’t want their job! When approached to consider being the UBRA Wisconsin Director I initially had that same thought. I then thought “why not me?”   I believe in hard work, honesty and integrity. I’m a wife and mother of two wonderful children. Above all family and friends are the most important things in life. My horses are part of my family.  God has blessed me and my family with some pretty amazing horses.  I’m thankful for the individuals in my life who have shaped who I am and continue to mold me to be the person I strive to be. I am a social worker by profession.  I feel that every person has something to offer and is important. I believe in empowering each other to be the best we can be. Occasionally we have to take risks and move outside of our comfort zone as that is the only way we continue to learn and grow. I love the  camaraderie of barrel racing. I have developed amazing friendships over the years. I love  taking young horses and training them to be barrel horses. That is what truly drives me. Over the years I have taken several horses from the ground up and made them barrel horses. That is my passion that is what I find pride in. Keisha Dinero was the 2016 UBRA 3D World Champion. My dedication, compassion and work ethic will help me be the best director that I can be. I look forward to working with members, producers and sponsors. I want to be the person that people enjoy talking to as I continue to share my love for horses and the sport of barrel racing. I have been blessed with wonderful horses, amazing friends and the best family one could ask for. I feel that it’s my time to give back. I’m honored to be the Wisconsin UBRA Director.
